I sometimes look at the blanket and think of the fields, each one representing a different state. This image was made on another train journey...homeward bound in the great North of England.

i just love your illustrations : ) The last time I visited England I remember the patchwork countryside flying in...I can't remember the airport, just know we were over Kent (?) But I digress, I think your illos are quite endearing and cute : )
